INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
Individual therapy can be used during a challenging life stage, as a support to keep things going well, or to help identify alternatives to thoughts and behavioral patterns that aren't achieving desired results. I work with my clients to foster well-being, resilience and emotional health. Let's work together to build the satisfying, genuine life that you envision for yourself.
RELATIONSHIP THERAPY
Whether you identify as monogamous or polyamorous, every relationship presents unique challenges. Whether your relationship was once solid, or you’ve struggled from the beginning, it’s possible to work together toward the fulfilling and balanced relationship that you desire. Clients come to my office because they are tired of the endless arguments, inability to get past specific issues, lack of communication around hot topics, and loss of closeness and intimacy that once provided a sense of fulfillment. By forming a collaborative alliance, we can work together to repair relationship rifts, rebuild trust, strengthen connection, and enhance feelings of security and intimacy going forth. Each session is used as a safe space to discuss problem areas, amplify aspects of the relationship that are working well, and practice new skills to strengthen and enrich your relationship outside the therapy room.
FAMILY THERAPY
Families can provide unconditional support, encouragement and a strong foundation to thrive. However, when a family’s dynamics are not functioning optimally, it can cause pain, suffering, and emotional turmoil that impacts every aspect of daily life. Whether you live with your family or only have occasional contact, family therapy can provide significant relief in healing dynamics that result in distressing interactions and feelings. Understandably, it is not always possible to include an entire family in therapy sessions. While healing often progresses most quickly when all family members can be actively engaged in the therapeutic process, it is definitely worthwhile to work on family issues as an individual or with just one or two family members that may be available and willing to come to sessions. Family therapy sessions provide a safe space to voice concerns and discuss dynamics that have been causing issues. You will leave each session with greater understanding of how to navigate entrenched patterns and with tools to guide more constructive ways of interacting.
